Learn how to weave your own jewellery with talented Wiradjuri fibre artist, Jessika Spencer in this free drop-in workshop.

Jessika will share her expertise and techniques, helping you craft a woven adornment using contemporary eco-dyed fibres inspired by Country. As a finalist in the National Indigenous Fashion Awards’ Traditional Adornment category, Jessika brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep connection to her cultural heritage.

Suitable for all skill levels, this workshop offers a beautiful introduction to weaving and the traditions behind it. Drop-in anytime to participate in this workshop.

Jessika Spencer

Jessika Spencer is a Wiradjuri woman from the Sandhills of Narrungdera (Narrandera) NSW and a weaver, writer and activist. For over the past decade she has resided on beautiful Ngunnawal/ Ngambri country, where she currently creates her art.

Being an Indigenous woman, culture and art go hand in hand. They are intertwined and are an ongoing source of inspiration for her. Through her varied art forms, Jessika explores her cultural identity.
