Aunty Jonny Hawkins
Jonny Hawkins, AKA Aunty Jonny, is a prolific multidisciplinary artist whose work is described as mesmerising, heartfelt, high octane, joyful and totally unpredictable.
Jonny is a mainstay of Sydney’s nightlife, live performances and artistic landscape.
As an actor, Jonny is a graduate of The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Their appearances across film and TV include Mr. Inbetween, God’s Favorite Idiot, The Other Guy and Celeste Barber’s Wellmania. Their career has seen them work with screen legends like Melissa McCarthy and fellow Australian Sarah Snook.
Their recent show, Dancefloor Conversion Therapy, about the importance of Dancefloor culture and the wisdom of the folks your mother warned you about received huge praise and 5 star reviews at Edinburgh and Sydney Fringe Festivals.
Rosie Deacon
Rosie Deacon was born in Nyngan, central west slopes and plains, and growing up in regional communities such as Bathurst and Wagga Wagga, the artist was influenced to create a strong community engaged craft practice.
Deacon uses easily accessible materials and what may be described as ‘everyday junk’ to create pieces that blur the lines between contemporary art, craft and jewellery practice. Deacon repurposes everyday materials such as synthetic eyelashes together with things like acrylic paint, expanding foam, jewels, glittery stickers and clay. Her expansive practice has grown to incorporate sculptural, installation, video, performance, and curatorial projects.
Cheryn Frost & Emma Kew
Cheryn Frost and Emma Kew are collaborative performance makers working across theatre, drag and film. As a duo they have credits across directing, writing, lighting design, curating and producing and have presented work for the Biennale of Sydney, Dark Mofo, MCA, Bondi Festival, and The Bearded Tit.
They were recipients of the Stephen Cummins Residency at Performance Space for 2025 and participants in the Queer Development Program. As individuals they are also accomplished artists – Cheryn’s credits include Brolga: A Queer Koori Wonderland (Performance Space), (Not So) Blue Light Disco (Bundanon), Volcanoes & Vulvas: The Exploration of My Two Greatest Loves (Redline Productions/ The Old Fitz) and Hydraulic Fucking (PACT).
Emma’s works include Notes on a Scandal (Kitchen Sink Festival), I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Cooking For (Stage Mom), national tours for CDP Theatre Producers and numerous film collaborations with award-winning company Studio Antics including Buff, Dykes on Bikes: An Origin Story & Single.
Lorna Clarkson
Lorna Clarkson is a DJ with over 30 years’ experience shaping memorable nights (and days) on the dancefloor. With a deep knowledge and love of electro, house, techno, boogie, disco, hip house, rave, jungle and bass; Lorna Clarkson weaves together cross-genre sets that lock into the mood and energy of the room.
Over the decades, Lorna has played at legendary clubs and parties across the world from London to Germany to Rome to Spain to New York to her base in Australia, as well as regularly featuring at parties and festivals such as Kooky, Loose Ends, House of Mince, Late Night Queer Dance, Bad Dog, Mad Racket, Dunj, Sonar Festival, Splendour In The Grass, Dark Mofo and Sydney’s Vivid. She has also been hand picked over the years to warm up rooms for the likes of Goldfrapp, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Thievery Corporation, The Creatures and Fat Freddy’s Drop.
Lorna is a DJ that selects music for a moment – not for an expectation – and that’s what gives her sets their edge. You never quite know what you’re going to get but you know it will be completely up front and driven by what’s most important – the people on the dancefloor.
Rosie Allways
Rosie Allways is a professional flasher and comedic entertainer who has exposed herself across screens, countries and basically every celebration you could think of. Rosie’s style of performance is erotically confusing and downright absurd – she loves to build a fantasy, and when you least expect it, she’ll kick it in the dick, then she’ll cry, scream, call your nan, flash a boob and RUN!
Miss Murry Codd
Liam Painter, AKA Miss Murry Codd, is a professional booty shaker and dream maker. Rubbing shoulders with the Divas, Dolls and Dead beats she’s a resident go-go girl and professional booth bunny, frequenting the stages of Club Mince and Sydney’s scandal of a party “Show us ya tips”.
Miss Codd has seen it all, while wearing nothing at all. Freshly back from the gauntlet of Dark Mofo, there’s some newly minted tricks up her sleeve she’s just dying to show you. She might not be a class act, but she sure is enthusiastic.
