Experience everything Bundanon has to offer with this two-night package including all meals and beverages, tours and eco-friendly accommodation at The Bridge. Guided tours explore architecture, the Homestead* site and the new exhibition Siteworks, plus join a yoga class or a guided bushwalk. Siteworks brings together site specific installations, new commissions and collaborations, all focused on design and the natural environment.

*Please note that the Homestead itself is currently closed for remediation work. Arthur Boyd’s studio and the broader Homestead site are open.

 

Pricing

Two people: $1700 (king bed or twin singles)
One person: $1370

Pricing includes GST. Your stay at Bundanon enables two children from local primary schools to participate in a day learning program at Bundanon.

Itinerary^

All activities on this itinerary are optional.  Make your Bundanon experience your own by opting into the activities that interest you. You are welcome to enjoy Bundanon’s grounds, Art Museum and the Homestead site in your own time throughout the weekend. Speak to our Visitor Services staff for tips on attractions to visit throughout the region.

Friday 2 December

4-6pm: Check-in – Information Centre
5pm: Bundanon Built Tour – explore Bundanon’s architecture –
meet guides outside Art Museum
6pm: Welcome drinks – Art Museum forecourt
7-9pm: Three-course dinner with drinks, alternate drop service – The Bridge Dining Room
 

Saturday 3 December

Please note – Bundanon’s Homestead site is a 20-minute drive from the Art Museum site, on a 9km unsealed road. Opening hours are 10am – 5pm and our friendly guides will be available to answer any questions about the Boyds and the history of the property. Picnic tables are available at both sites – consider taking your lunch over to the picturesque Homestead site.

8-9.30am: Continental breakfast – The Bridge Dining Room
10.30am: Exhibition tour – Inside, underground, part of Siteworks 2022 – meet guide outside Art Museum

12-1pm: Lunch available for collection – The Bridge Dining Room
1pm: Drive to Homestead site (20-minute drive), self-guided tour of Arthur Boyd’s Studio and Homestead grounds
2-4.30pm: Smoking ceremony and First Nations guided cultural walk – Homestead site – gentle walk, uneven ground
From 6pm: Pre-dinner drinks – Art Museum forecourt
6.05pm: Documentary screening (if attending, pick up a drink before heading over) – Arthur Boyd – A Man in Two Worlds (1979, 56 mins) – Mordant Library Meeting Room
7pm: Buffet-style dinner with drinks – The Bridge Dining Room

Sunday 4 December

After checkout you are welcome to stay and enjoy the grounds or lunch at Ramox café.

7.15am: Yoga
8-9.30am: Breakfast
11am:  Check out

What to pack

Towels, bedding and soap are provided in your room, but please bring anything else you might need including: 

  • Other toiletries: shampoo, conditioner and toothpaste 
  • Insect repellant
  • Yoga mat – if yoga is included in your package 
  • Warm clothes, a hat and sunscreen 
  • Sturdy shoes, if you wish to explore the properties
  • Water bottle 
  • For light-sensitive sleepers: some light does enter the room, so bring an eye mask 
  • Hair dryer/shower cap, if you need one 
  • A good book: there are no TVs at Bundanon, so bring something to read during any downtime
