Rachel returns to Make Good Festival after her sold-out workshop last year to explore how even the smallest offcuts can become something special.
Using simple hand-tools, participants will carve a butter knife or pickle fork from reclaimed timber collected from cabinetmakers, old furniture, and salvaged doors — materials that might otherwise be discarded.
Working slowly and thoughtfully, this workshop offers a gentle introduction to hand carving, revealing how beauty and function can emerge from the humblest pieces of wood.
