Cry Havoc

Cry Havoc!, a new Shakespeare collective comprising of young, emerging artists, including Director Kate Revz, Actor Gemma Pranita and Playwright Joanna Erskine, are committed to the daring re-working of classic texts for the contemporary stage.

The residency at Bundanon enables the ensemble to go into complete production immersion, experimenting with a new rehearsal method, Active Analysis, a late Stanislavskian theory, to develop a brave, original and vibrant contemporary production.

Their first production will be staged at the Downstairs Seymour Centre Theatre in May 2009. It will be a bold reworking of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar with a versatile ensemble of eight actors.

Cry Havoc! is theatre forward - developed, produced and performaed by young artists.
