Residency Year: 2018

Lives / Works: Australia

9DIMES is an immersive multimedia experience which exhibits a drift between urban and contemporary dance vernacular. This collaborative piece combines music and holographic projections to be engaged with by a diverse cast of dancers. This piece explores the human condition, looking closely at choice, relationships, identity and belonging, as constituent factors in developing the ‘self’ and how different states of consciousness can be interpreted through theories of space-time, as well as how these complex notions can intersect with everyday living.

IN RESIDENCE 2018

Efren Pamilacan Jr. (Dancemaker/Producer/Co-director), Jason Ng (Musician/Producer/Co-director), Jobe Williams (Visual Projection and Light Installment Artist), with dancers Karla Mathieson, Jorge Waldon, Daisuke Benson, Hena Memishi and Joshkun Arslan.

The group of collaborators worked on 9DIMES, an immersive multimedia experience which exhibits a drift between urban and contemporary dance vernacular.
