Darragh O’Callaghan is an Irish-based multimedia artist working in video, installation and performance. Exploring multifaceted subject matters that are inherently about personal experience, family and the body, O’Callaghan turns the inside out to expose things that are not said and that lie beneath the surface.

IN RESIDENCE 2014

O’Callaghan amd David Sudmalis were in residence together developing a new audio-visual ensemble PHOBE. PHOBE explores the subtle relationships between sound and vision, and the flexibility of semi-improvised music and image within fixed and malleable temporal domains.

IN RESIDENCE 2012

O’Callaghan and David Sudmalis collaborated to produce a new work to be exhibited in London (GV Arts) in 2012. MUCKER: a performance installation comprising hung embroidered pigskin, sound and performance.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
