In Residence at Bundanon

Our time at Bundanon will be dedicated to prototyping a new series of sculptures. The work explores the symbolism of ships as spiritual vessels, catalysts for colonisation, and mythological ghost ships. We will model forms and experiment with various mirrors and lighting techniques to create spectral, three-dimensional illusions. This focused period of making and testing is crucial for us to resolve the complex interplay between object, light, and illusion before final production.
