Bundanon

Felicity Wilcox is a composer whose output encompasses concert music, music and sound design for film, television, games, animation, theatre, installation, multimedia, live events, dance, radio, and band projects. Much of her work is focused towards hybrid arts and interdisciplinary projects, informed by her extensive professional background as a screen composer.

During her residency, Wilcox worked on ‘Threading the Light’ – a new mixed-media chamber opera work that brings together concert music, theatre, electronic music, animation and visual design, to re-imagine musical performance, drawing on cutting-edge digital applications of sound and image, as well as the ancient and deeply human expression of live musical performance.
