Gavin Clarke is a performer/choreographers with an interest in the effect of environment on the way people navigate space, how this influences our choices and how this translates into artistic output.

Clarke was in residence at Bundanon in 2014 with Anya McKee. During their shared they, they worked on their movement research conducted the city (Ultimo), observing the effect of bringing together two different bodies and choreographic processes loaded with information, past and present. They trialed different methods of choreographic generation and to observe the outcomes in relation to the urban environment.

Bundanon acknowledges the Wodi Wodi and the Yuin, of the South Coast region, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
