Art Forms: Installation, Sculpture, Visual Art

Residency Year: 2017

Lives / Works: Australia

Jane Theau is a visual artist working with disparate media in sculpture and installation.

In a collaborative residency together in 2017, Sue Healey was interested in contrasting movement with stillness: the movement of the dancer and the projection of Super-8 film, with the stillness of Theau’s installation of figurative thread drawings that will be lit to throw a kaleidoscopic throng of shadows, creating a theatrical space that beckons interaction.
