Yantra de Vilder has created music for the BBC Discovery and National Geographic Channel, as well as all the major Australian TV Stations. She has recorded eleven albums of her own music and has a Master’s degree in contemporary music. Yantra has had recording and publishing contracts with SongZu, EMI Music, Castle Music, Peers Southern, Image and Fable Music. With a focus on contemporary music practice, de Vilder has a keen interest in music technology and performance, and to that end, her compositions have spanned a wide range of music genres – from epic dramatic film scores through to reflective wildlife documentaries.

de Vilder was in residence in 2017 with Kathryn Puie to work on ‘Ritual in Landscape’ – their first project as co-creators. They worked with Imogen Liljestrom to capture the landscape through film and photography at Bundanon.

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
