Producer Rita Walsh and Director Jessica Leski have been collaborating for three years on documentary film “I Used to be Normal”- A Boyband Fangirl Story’ that investigates the passionate, creative and sometimes hysterical relationships teenagers through the ages have with the boybands they love – from The Beatles and The Backstreet Boys, to One Direction.

Whilst in residency at Bundanon, Rita Walsh and Jessica Leski began editing over 50 hours of footage taken in Australia and the USA for their documentary ‘I Used to be Normal’. The documentary screened on FUSE! in the USA in May 2019.
