Julian Wong is an independent musician and dancer based in Sydney, Australia. He has a broad background in classical Chinese and western music, martial arts, contemporary dance and physical theatre practices, including training at the Australian International Conservatorium of Music and the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts for dance, and is a student and teacher of the Feldenkrais Method.

Wong was in residence at Bundanon in 2016 with Daisy Saunders, Rhiannon Newton, Dominik Mall and Alexandra Harrison. Whilst in residence, physically and thematically rigorous studies of body awareness in movement were explored, reworking and expanding Daisy’s dance theatre work PACES.

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
