Melinda Smith is a poet, editor, teacher, arts advocate and event curator. She is the author of seven poetry collections, including the 2014 Prime Minister’s Literary Award-winner Drag down to unlock or place an emergency call.

At Bundanon, Smith immersed herself in intensive writing and editing of her new book of poems ‘Snowclones’ (working title).

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
