Nalina Wait is a dance artist, academic, and full-time lecturer with a particular interest in improvisation. Her PhD thesis, Improvised Dance: Practices, Pedagogies and Language, articulates processes of somatic intelligence cultivation in the practice and performance of improvisation.

During their residency together at Bundanon, Nalina Wait, Paea Leach and James Brown developed their collaborative work ‘Submerge’.
