Naomi Kasumi is a Seattle based artist-scholar, educator, and designer. Her work is inspired by her memories of a huge experience, and her emotional reaction to a specific small event in a place/nature.

Whilst in residence Kasumi focused on the creative production of project ‘MEM no.16’, a site specific, ephemeral installation set in the natural landscape of Bundanon.

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the Traditional Owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.

This website contains names, images and voices of deceased Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
