The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) is Australia’s leading institute for education and training in the performing arts.

IN RESIDENCE 2019

Inspired by the Bundanon’s natural environment, 8 NIDA Design students developed ideas and work for their exploratory 3D costume project ‘Chameleon’. Australian Costume Designer Jennifer Irwin will lead the project at Bundanon with Performance Designer and Illustrator Heather Middleton joining the project in Sydney.

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
