Peter Twohig is a writer. His first novel, The Cartographer, received the Ned Kelly Award for Best First Fiction in 2012 and was long-listed for the Commonwealth Book Prize in 2013.

Whilst in residence at Bundanon, Twohig worked on the first draft of his next novel ‘The Bunyip Whispers’ (working title).

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
