Ron Pretty is an Australian poet, publisher and teacher. He has taught writing in the University of Wollongong and Melbourne University as well as in schools, colleges and a broad variety of community organisations.

While in residence, Pretty worked to finish projects which he has been working on: a novel entiteled Adam’s Lookdown and also do a rewrite on a filmscript of the same name. Pretty also worked to begin a second novel during his residency, based on the life and death of Frank Arkell, one-time MP and Mayor of Wollongong.

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
