Billinge is a British born, Sydney based artist with a multi-disciplinary practice concerned with people and relationships.

She is best known for her community driven mural projects which explore the use of public space as a site for active social engagement. She often collaborates with various groups when designing and painting her work.

She has been awarded numerous grants and commissions including a Creative Fellowship from the City of Sydney and her work has been exhibited widely at both artist run and commercial spaces including solo shows at The Centre for Contemporary Photography and WestSpace Gallery, Melbourne.

In Residence at Bundanon

During the residency at Bundanon, Billinge will be pushing the technical and conceptual boundaries of her mural practice. Filling the studio with large scale experiments in colour and paint application.

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
