So… is a collaboration between vocalist/composer Phaedra Gunn (associated acts The Winterfriends, Madam Nightingale) and multi-instrumentalist and producer Chris Pehrson (associated act Me In A Dream).

Phaedra Gunn and Chris Pehrson’s duo project launched in 2022 initially as a songwriting project, composing post-genre electronica with strong progressive pop, jazz and afrobeat influences. Later that year, Unreleased So… track From The River was awarded an honourable mention in the International Collaborative Music Contest. In October 2024 at Melbourne Fringe, So… received a judges’ pick selection and positive audience acclaim at their debut performance.

In Residence at Bundanon

While at Bundanon for two weeks, Phaedra and long-term collaborating producer David O’Toole (associated acts The Winterfriends, Aj,Zho, Madam Nightingale) will write and record the So… debut EP, working with Chris remotely.

Week 1 – composing and arranging new works, finalising arrangements for demo works
Week 2 – rehearsing and recording the outcomes, with approximately 6 finalised recorded musical works
