Spencer Harrison

Art Forms: Installation, Painting, Visual Art

Residency Year: 2019

Lives / Works: Melbourne, Australia

Spencer Harrison is an artist known for his bold, colourful work. Inspired by modernism, his work investigates form, colour and space through a variety of media including sculpture, painting, murals and installation. Through these, he creates a universal language that he utilises to represent ideas drawing from science, eastern philosophy, phenomenology and science.

During his residency at Bundanon, Harrison built on his previous body of abstract paintings and sculptures, using the time to develop a new series of cut paper collages and scultpural maquettes.
