Elena Kats-Chernin is an award winning composer and pianist. She has created works across nearly every genre, from rags to ballet and operas, and from intimate compositions for piano, string trio and chamber ensembles to robotic instruments, and full-scale choir and symphony orchestra, from the world’s leading orchestras, opera, ballet and theatre companies and festivals.

Kats-Chernin was in residence with Tamara-Anna Cislowska in 2019 in the lead up to their performance at Riversdale in July 2019.

Bundanon acknowledges the Wodi Wodi and the Yuin, of the South Coast region, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
