Vanessa Gazy is a writer and filmmaker who completed a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications) at the University of Sydney before forging her film career in Paris, London and the United States. Gazy has developed several scripts and produced films which have been selected for – and won awards at – several international film festivals. At this year’s Sundance Film Festival, Matthew Lessner’s Chapel Perilous, which Gazy produced in 2012, won the short film Audience Award.

Gazy was in residence at Bundanon in 2015 and 2014.

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
