Victoria Cooper

Art Form: Writing

Residency Years: 2018, 2009, 2007

Lives / Works: Australia

Collectively, Victoria Cooper and Doug Spowart have been involved in the arts as practitioners, teachers, critics, commentators and allied professional activities for many years: Doug Spowart, from the 1980s and Victoria Cooper, from 1990.

Cooper and Spowart used their time at Bundanon to work on resolving an artist’s book project that pursues a new direction in their work. Underpinning their project is the neologism, Solastalgia, and the uncanny experience of changing Australian urban and natural environments.

Cooper was also in residence at Bundanon in 2009 and 2007.
