Bundanon is a learning landscape for everyone of all ages. Find out more about our diverse range of learning programs on offer.

A range of creative learning programs are inspired by the Art Museum, the Collection, First Nations culture and connection to Country, visiting artists, and the natural and built environments.

Creativity and critical thinking are prioritised alongside problem solving, collaboration and experiencing the world with all the senses through practice-based activities and guided conversations. Embedded in place-based thinking, Learning programs provides a safe, where everyone can share viewpoints, individuality, and diversity.

Throughout the year Bundanon’s Learning team run a series of regular events centered around creative learning that speak to a range of audiences, find out more about these events below.

Bundanon Mini

Time for the little ones to experience the Art Museum with Bundanon’s Learning team. Bundanon Mini is a free program which runs on the third Thursday of every month that caters for children aged 0-5 years.

Bundanon Inspire

Bundanon Inspire is a free two-day school holiday program for high school students. Participants are invited to spend two full days at Bundanon with the Learning team enjoying time in the Art Museum, artmaking classes and bushwalks.

Family Fun Day

Children and adults visit the Art Museum together and collaborate to create large-format artworks responding to exhibitions in the Art Museum.

Teachers Night

Teachers and educators are invited to join Bundanon’s Learning team to experience the most recent exhibition in the Art Museum and enjoy creative learning activities designed by the Learning team in response to the exhibition.

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
