Bundanon acknowledges the Wodi Wodi and Yuin peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the South Coast region, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.
The word Bundanon means deep gully or deep valley from BU(LAIA:N:DHAIA(LA) meaning “two things deep” and NOON from the pronoun NYUNG meaning “his”.
