APPLY FOR A RESIDENCY - Applications for Bundanon's 2025 Artists in Residence program are now open

Bundanon

At Siteworks in 2018 Bundanon shifted minds from big ideas and thought small for a change, narrowing the view to see what comes into focus when we turn our attention to the miniature and microscopic.

Tiny gods, dancing spiders, microbes in both the soil and your gut.

Artists included Maria Fernanda Cardoso, Emily Hunt, Helen Pynor, Patrick Nolan with Dancenorth, One Step at a Time Like This, Theatre Kantanka and Deborah Kelly.

All of this and more was explored at Bundanon’s annual spring event that brings scientists, artists and community voices together to share knowledge and ideas arising from the Bundanon sites through discussions, presentations and experiences.

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.

This website contains names, images and voices of deceased Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
