Join artist Deborah Kelly to create a floral collage to be installed in Nowra as part of Micro galleries street art festival, opening on May 8 2015.
Participants in Flowers For Nowra will learn collage skills and help devise a street-based collaborative artwork to be exhibited in a local street gallery. No previous experience required! Have a steady hand an eye for detail, and you will enjoy making this artwork. Lovers of gardens, flowers, art, scrap-booking and co-operative labour will find the workshops a great pleasure.
Deborah Kelly is a Sydney-based artist whose works have been shown around Australia, and in Singapore, Sydney and Venice Biennales. Most recently she has been conducting collage workshops as durational process-based artworks in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Leipzig and Istanbul.
