Bundanon

Figure In The Landscape

Arthur Boyd is well known for his artworks celebrating the landscape, particularly the Shoalhaven. Often these works incorporate the figure, conciously imbuing the landscape with human emotion.

Alongside works by Arthur, are similarly themed works by former artists in residence including Graeme Drendel, David Frazer, Ruth Howard, Polixeni Papapetrou, Gary Willis and William Yang.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
