Galah Gala

Join us and special guests Jenny Kee and Linda Jackson for an unforgettable art and fashion dance party.

Special Event

Saturday 5 September 6–10pm
Book

Dust off your plumage and press your finest feathers — the Galah Gala is calling.

If you loved the (Not So) Blue Light Disco, don’t miss Aunty Jonny and the Falconers of Fashion as they take you under their glorious wings for an evening of high couture meets high country, where Australia’s most magnificent birds take the runway at Bundanon. Come dressed as the bird you were always meant to be — Brolga or Budgie, Cassowary or Kookaburra, perhaps the famed Tawny Frogmouth of Bundanon itself. Beaks encouraged. Dignity optional. Dancing essential.

Full program to be announced soon.

Dress Code: Full Plumage

This is not a suggestion. This is a migration.

Come as a bird. Native and endemic species are strongly encouraged. Pigeons will be tolerated. Sparrows will be pitied. Headwear is compulsory. Crests, beaks, crowns of native flora — we don’t care how you get there. We care that you arrive with something on your head. Colour is your friend. Iridescence is your calling. The Ibis understands that glamour is a state of mind, not a tax bracket. Interpretations welcome. Literal costume. High fashion homage. Conceptual plumage. All valid. “I wore a feather boa” is not valid. We will know.

The Falconers of Fashion reserve the right to assess, admire, and ceremonially roast your look.
