Bundanon

Tex Perkins and Matt Walker

An exciting new collaboration between this incredibly talented duo sets Tex Perkins distinct vocals to a blues swamp-groove sound.

Don’t miss these compelling musicians and long-time friends performing new and classic songs. Many new originals inhabit the setlist, but see them now while they’re still fleshing out the set with a few Cruel Sea covers!

SPECIAL GUEST SUPPORT: Jodi Phillis

Best known as co-frontwoman of Australian alt-rock band The Clouds, Jodi has established herself as an influential solo singer/songwriter in her own right. Jodi’s highly original, melodic rock has seen her described by Rolling Stone as ‘a national treasure’.

This all-ages outdoor gig at the iconic Boyd Education Centre will get your summer concert season rocking.

“Tex has the swagger, presence and indomitable attitude that comes from years of fronting some of Australia’s most intense and spirited rock’n’roll bands. His take-no-prisoners approach to performance comes with the sensibility of an artist committed to the subtle (and often unsubtle) nuances of his craft. Throw in an astonishing voice full of power and depth, mix it with a dry and sardonic sense of humour and what emerges is the reason there is only one Tex Perkins”
