Anna Dunnill is an artist, writer and curator whose craft-based studio practice explores attention and ritual through textile processes.

She has held solo exhibitions in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and Kansas City (Missouri, USA), and completed an MFA (Visual Art) at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2019. Anna’s writing has appeared in numerous publications including Art+Australia online, un magazine, Runway, fine print, and The Toast. She also runs Side Gate, an occasional domestic exhibition project in her Coburg share-house.

In Residence at Bundanon

My project explores the textile possibilities of Bundanon’s weeds. Working with the grounds team to identify and extract invasive plants, I will experiment with making cordage, weavings, dye and other textile objects.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
