Dr Anthony Lyons is a composer, producer, musician whose practice is an interdisciplinary one traversing moving image, performance, design and installation. Anthony is a frequent collaborator and is drawn to all forms of sonic arts exploration. He embraces multiple modes of making and is drawn to the inner worlds of sound and its connections to memory, sonority and place.

In residence at Bundanon

During Anthony’s residency at Bundanon he will concentrate on the early stages of a new composition for piano & electronics. This is a work planned for long-time collaborator, pianist Sonya Lifschitz. He hopes to absorb the colours, sounds and rhythms of Bundanon and feed them into the sound palette of the creative work. Anthony will also write new material for his project called ‘Au Revoir Hands’, which consists of cello, synthesisers, and electronics.
