Since 2012 Bernadette Lewis has performed extensively across Australia working with choreographers such as Ross McCormack, Anton, Frances Rings, Sue Peacock, Aimee Smith, Lucas Jervies, Natalie Allen, Didier Théron and most recently in Maxine Doyle’s Perth Festival commission Sunset. Her choreographic work spans multidisciplinary, large scale, community engagement collaborations.

Lewis was in residence at Bundanon in 2019 with Wiradjuri dancer Joel Bray.

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
