Pip Ryan

Art Forms: Drawing, Film/Video, Installation, Sculpture, Visual Art

Residency Year: 2019

Lives / Works: Melbourne, Australia

Pip Ryan’s practice explores themes of uncanny and absurd using drawing, installation, sculpture, and video. She uses reconfigurations of everyday objects including toys to subvert the familiar.

IN RESIDENCE 2018

Adam Boyd, Pip Ryan and Natalie Ryan used their shared time to develop new work, focusing research on the library catalogue and its relationship with the history and architecture of the many sites around Bundanon. These intrigues shape Adam’s investigations into the “infinity of expressions”.

Ryan was also in residence in 2019.
