Rosalie Ham is a writer and Literature teacher from Melbourne. She is the author of four novels, the first of which was adapted to film in 2015. The Dressmaker starred Kate Winslet and Judy Davis, and the novel is a staple of the Victorian Certificate of Education Literature curriculum.

IN RESIDENCE 2018
During her residency, Ham worked on the development of her fifth novel titled, ‘Myrtle’, a sequel to ‘The Dressmaker’ (2000).

IN RESIDENCE 2015
At Bundanon in 2015, Ham re-wrote the rough first draft of her fourth novel – ‘Year of the Farmer’. The novel was published by Picador Australia in September 2018.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
