Before you apply

Application Hints

  • Hit the ‘APPLY NOW’ button, you will be asked to create a SmartyGrants log in.
  • Remember your SmartyGrants log in credentials
  • Download a copy of the full application
  • Always save your work as you go. You can save and return to complete your application later

Application Checklist

  • Read the Guidelines
  • Read the Terms and Conditions
  • Read the Artists in Residence Handbook
  • Check your eligibility
  • Prepare:
    • Responses to application questions detailing your practice and benefits of the residency (2 questions up to 800 words each)
    • If your proposal includes First Nations Engagement you will need to complete and submit this document as part of your application
    • You will also be asked to consider if your work incorporates, is sourced from, or refers to cultural heritage material and, if so, to seek the appropriate consent from the community custodians. Bundanon expects residency participants to follow ICIP best practice as outlined by the Arts Law Centre
    • Support materials that meet requirements and limits as detailed in the preview application form and guidelines
    • A short biography and 2-page CV for each person proposed in the application
  • Submit your application on time
