Ravi Glasser-Vora

Art Forms: Film/Video, Writing

Residency Year: 2016

Ravi Glasser-Vora is a writer, videographer and electrical engineer who likes to build things. He has collaborated on works for festivals including Underbelly Arts, the International Festival of Artistic Innovation (England) and the Brisbane Festival. His most recent work is on developing mapped video projections that are made reactive to live performance through mesh networked sensors.

Glasser-Vora was in residence at Bundanon in 2016 with Eve Klein. Together they worked to complete a first draft of an opera score, finalise the libretto and design the electronic sculptures for new collaboration ‘Triptych’. Additionally, audio samples were recorded from around the Bundanon property to contribute to the work’s sound design.
