Renata Commisso was born in Sydney, and prior to her residency has spent time exploring independent contemporary performance and dance film projects.

At Bundanon, Commisso and Sue Healey (choreographer, film-maker and installation artist) worked with Raghav Handa (choreographer and performer), Richard Paul Harvey AM FRS (molecular biologist), Anca Frankenhaeuser (deviser/director/choreographer/performer/ teacher) and Patrick Harding-Irmer (dancer) on a collaborative installation investigating light, film and choreography, exploring the movement of two and three dimensional bodies.
